Issue Description
"Sometimes the Good Guys Lose" A fifteen year old girl, Liana, learns that her father is a fugitive from another world and that she is the heir to an alien religious dynasty. She could be the most powerful psychic being in the universe, but someone already sits on the otherworldly throne of Ovanan, and he is the helpless pawn of a corrupt government, a government that wants Liana dead. If Liana lives, all Earth is in danger as Ovanan will stop at nothing to destroy her. If Liana dies, the rest of the universe remains under the control of a cruel empire. But, there's a third possible fate for Liana, a fate no one has considered, and it is a future more cruel than she could possibly have imagined... This issue also features part I of a two-part original prose short story "A World for Dreaming" by Jan Strnad, acclaimed comics and animation writer! With original illustrations by Colleen Doran.
