Volume Description
Six-part mini-series based on the hip-hop album of the same name and created by Adrian Younge and Ghostface Killah. The comic is written by Adrian Younge, CE Garcia, Matthew Rosenberg, with illustrations from Breno Tamura (The Lead Years), Gus Storms (The Dead Years) and various other artists contributing flashback scenes and additional splash pages. Produced by Bob Perry, Matt Pizzolo, and the RZA through Black Mask Studios and Soul Temple Entertainment.
The story is set in Italy during the 1960s and 1980s - dubbed The Lead Years and The Dead Years. The Lead Years focus on the mafia clan the 12 DeLucas and their rise to power until they meet Anthony Stark, the Ghostface Killah. The Dead Years follow a record hunter, or "crate digger" as he likes to be called, as he searches for the vinyl records that were played during the death of the DeLucas.
